The sun that shines today is the sun that shone when thy father was born, and will still be shining when they grandchild shall pass into the darkness.

We believe there is a formula for wealth creation that stands the test of time. To accomplish this, we believe you need to:

  • Have the mentality that wealth creation is a marathon not a sprint and most "get rich quick" strategies have success rates similar a the roulette wheel

  • Live below your means

  • Always save over 10% of what you earn

  • Maximize the use of other people's money (401K match, cheap mortgage debt, etc.)

  • Minimize taxes as much as legally possible

  • Protect yourself from taking a significant capital hit (diversification, insurance, etc.)

  • Work to improve yourself and your earnings power

  • Develop multiple sources of income

  • Start savings and investing as early as possible. The number of years you are able to compound wealth is important

Wealth, like a tree, grows from a tiny seed. The first copper you save is the seed from which your tree of wealth shall grow. The sooner you plant that seed the sooner shall the tree grow. And the more faithfully you nourish and water that tree with consistent savings, the sooner may you bask in contentment beneath its shade.
